Our Founding Team
Umberto Greco
co-founder
Umberto founded OpenTabs while studying at university with the goal of redesigning the internet for social impact and improving the world in a sustainable way. He developed a passion for sustainable development after growing up around the world in countries including Sudan, North Korea, Zimbabwe, and Malawi.
Catharina Doria
co-founder
Catharina always had a passion for ways in which technology could be used for social good. At the age of 16, she developed a viral app to map sexual harassment in Brazil to makes streets safer for women. She has given talks at different tech conferences to discuss the importance of women in tech and has worked at Twitter and Pinterest. She is currently studying for a Master's Degree in Business Analytics & Big Data.
